We had the privilege recently of meeting Carlo Bustamante during our search for a townhouse in Burnaby. As we were new to the area we needed someone we could trust and rely on to find us the perfect space for our family and dogs. Carlo immediately got to work on showing us different properties, fully taking into account our price range and specific needs and wants. He also suggested other areas we hadn’t even thought of which may have been suitable locations. Within a very short period of time he hit the nail on the head; and subsequently negotiated a fair price for a unit which checked off every item on our wish list. On delivery of the keys he even offered to help unpack the van (and I’m sure he would have gladly followed through if we had accepted!). As a first time home buyer, my first weeks of searching certainly didn't amount to the kind of experience I was hoping to have. From home visits marred by lack of honesty and homeowner gimmicks, suffice it to say we were less than enthused. It was at this point that we turned to Carlo Bustamante. Having a real estate agent on our side at the caliber of Carlo was a godsend and changed the entire tone and even speed of our house hunt. One of the biggest differences we saw was the quality of properties that Carlo managed to find for us. My busy schedule mixed with my lack of knowledge regarding new developments led to a paucity in the amount of housing I was finding that matched the qualities I desired. With Carlo on board, we had many more properties that were more our style and we ended up buying a house that Carlo had sourced for us. This "on the button" sourcing of properties also made it possible for us to find the perfect home for us in just under a month of house hunting. We didn't think that time line was even possible until we met Carlo.
Carlo was also wonderful at booking appointments that matched our busy schedule, when our house hunting got serious he was always able to book us appointments even at short notice. With the real estate market as it is, timing certainly is everything and we never had to worry about timing when it came to appointments.
When it came down to final negotiations and contract signing, we were most pleased with the availability of Carlo to have things done within 24 hours and any questions answered in the most diligent nature. With the negotiations themselves, Carlo was able to negotiate not only the best deal but also helped us get final adjustments made with the house, that we thought perhaps would be turned down. Carlo worked his magic and made things happen for us.
At the end of the day, we have a new home that we couldn't be happier with and with Carlo standing by our side, house hunting became a pleasure from first meeting to final hand over of keys. I therefore with no reservations whatsoever recommend Carlo as an amazing real estate agent who will make your house hunting an enjoyable and successful one.
